Day 3 - Spring 2009 Game

Greetings,

Our analysis of the situation suggests that the strange behavior of several students is a new outbreak of the nano-bot virus, like those controlled by ANMRI.  We did establish that the first student to go missing did wander into a restricted area of unfinished reconstruction.  What is controling the nano-bots, whether it be ANMRI, or some other entity, is unknown.

This evening, Friday, weather conditions will be favorable to triangulating the position of the strange radio signal.  Gather at the Van Zile Basketball Court by 7:00 p.m. for your instructions.  Jesse Abram is likely to be a few minutes late.  His brother, Ethan Riggs, is among those acting strangely.

Sincerly,

The Administration

Notes:
Jesse Abram will be there as a moderator and a player, but he is no threat and/or he is not vulnerable while on the basketball court.

The Zombies are recieving a different message and will meet elsewhere at 7:00 p.m. - The Zombies met in front of the Chem/Biochem Building.

What happened that day.

Large groups of Humans and Zombies showed up for the mission. The Humans met on the basketball court by Van Zile and were given their instructions.

The Humans moved out to the Quad where they undertook the completion of a crossword puzzle and a sudoku puzzle to simulate the effort it takes to traingulate a readio signal.  "Triangulation" was not completed until after the better part of an hour, during which the Zombies attacked in waves several times.  The Humans defended themselves well and only a handful of Humans fell to the horde.

"Triangulation" complete, the Human's headed north and "destroyed" the satellite dish being used to transmit the strange radio signal.

After the mission the Humans retreated to Goodenow Hall where they fought their way in and then were trapped by the persistant Zombie horde.  The waiting game was played for over an hour before the Zombies tired of the stake out and the Humans made their escape.
